This past year I got asked to be part of this new 3 CD compilation of Minstrel and Tin Pan Alley DNA of Country Music music. I redid my version of May Irwin's "The Foolish Frog" and her original is included in front of mine. The CD is a collection of many old tunes and songs that came after that were influenced by them. Many great artists are included, such as The Carter Family, Louis Armstrong, Peg Leg Howell, Gus Cannon, Bill Monroe, Granpa Jones, Louis Jordan and many others.  My solo CD has been recorded and was released about 4 years ago and is titled "Full Throttle". It was recorded in Nashville at Richard Smith’s Tunesmith studio. It features Dennis Crouch on upright bass along with Henry Hartman and Barry Johnson on a couple, Shad Cobb on fiddle and Josh Hunt on percussion. There are a number of Solo cuts and Richard Smith plays some guitar on a few. It is available by emailing me, or Amazon Music, Pandora, Spotify, iTunes Music, CD Baby among many others.

I recorded the latest CD in June 2019 for a 2020 release, once again tracked in Nashville at Richard Smith’s Tunesmith Studio, and it has just been released. It is titled "Don't Forget It" and features some really great musicians. On upright bass again is Dennis Crouch, Rory Hoffman on piano, Andrea Zonn on fiddle and backup vocals, Josh Hunt on percussion, Stuart Duncan on fiddle and mandolin, Jim Stevenson on Dobro and Richard Smith on lead guitar. The record is about half solo and half band arrangements depending on what I felt the particular song called for. It was certainly an honor and a lot of fun working with this stellar group of musicians and always a treat working in Richard Smith’s studio.. This record features my usual mix of original tunes and funky old blues and ragtime kind of stuff.
